Meghan Strickler is an Associate Attorney at Mel Williams PLC. A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Meghan returned to her hometown after graduating from Ohio Northern University-Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio. Meghan was awarded the Carl Frederick Klein, Clara E. Berry Klein and Robert W. Summers, M.D. Scholarship and made the Dean’s List while in law school, an achievement for students who receive a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Prior to attending law school, Meghan interned at the Botetourt Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Fincastle, Virginia as well as the Capitol of Virginia. While attending Ohio Northern University-Pettit College of Law, she participated in ONU’s Civil and Corporate Clinics where she provided legal representation to those in the surrounding communities. After her first year of law school, she interned at the Roanoke Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Virginia. In order to explore other areas of the law, she interned at the Southwest Virginia Legal Aid Society in the Christiansburg, Virginia office after her second year of law school.
Prior to joining Mel Williams PLC, Meghan represented individuals in criminal and civil matters, including, but not limited to family law matters and criminal defense of misdemeanor offenses.
